Business Administration Program Options
The Business Administration program at Memorial University offers various options for students to pursue their academic and professional goals.
Admission
To be eligible for the Business Administration program, students must first apply to Memorial University for general admission. Once accepted, they can explore business programs at Grenfell Campus and enroll in BUSN courses that meet prerequisite requirements and class enrollment limits.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The Bachelor of Business Administration degree program requires the completion of 120 credit hours (40 courses), typically completed over 4 or 5 years of full-time study, or a longer period of part-time study. To graduate with a BBA degree, students must achieve a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 and an overall average of at least 60% on the 120 credit hours specified for the degree.

Suggested Program Plan
The suggested course completion sequence for full-time BBA study is based on 4 years (fall-winter terms only) of full-time study (5 courses per semester). The plan includes:
- Year 1:
- BUSN 1010 Introduction to Business
- BUSN 1020 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- ECON 1010 Introduction to Microeconomics
- ECON 1020 Introduction to Macroeconomics
- 6 credit hours in first-year English (ENGL 1110 recommended)
- Year 2:

- BUSN 2110 Managerial Accounting
- MATH 1052 Mathematics for business (or MATH 1000)

Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours)
To be awarded the Honours designation, a student must meet all of the regulations for the general BBA degree and also meet the following requirements:
- Minimum overall average of 75% in required core Business courses and Business electives
- Obtain a minimum overall grade point average of 3.25 in the 120 credit hours required for the degree
- Completion of at least 50% of the required Business Core and Elective courses at Memorial University
Business Minor
A Business minor is available to students who are majoring in other Memorial University degree programs. The minor in business at Grenfell Campus requires the completion of 24 credit hours (8 courses) as follows:
- BUSN 1010 Introduction to Business
- BUSN 1020 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- 9 credit hours (3 courses) in BUSN courses at the 2000 level
- 9 credit hours (3 courses) in BUSN courses at the 3000 level or above
Certificate in Entrepreneurship
The Certificate in Entrepreneurship program requires the completion of 18 credit hours (6 courses) as follows:
- BUSN 1010 Introduction to Business
- BUSN 1020 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- BUSN 2105 Accounting for Non-Business Students
- BUSN 2251 Introduction to Marketing

Master of Management
