نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Introduction to the Postgraduate Program
The postgraduate program in Mathematical Modeling in Modern Technologies and Finance is a multidisciplinary program that combines advanced mathematics with modern technologies and financial applications. This program prepares students for a successful career in research and professional fields of high specialization.
Program Details
- Duration: 3 semesters
- ECTS: 90
- Language: Greek - English
- Attendance: Full-time
Program Objectives
The objective of the postgraduate program is to specialize diploma holders from the National Technical University of Athens or equivalent universities in the modern methods and techniques of interdisciplinary approach, collaboration, and research. This specialization enables them to cover the increasing needs of the public and private sectors in Greece and other European Union countries.
Program Structure
The program consists of three distinct directions:
- Cutting-Edge Technologies: Specialized methods of numerical analysis, mathematical optimization, and solution of differential equations to address complex scientific and technological challenges.
- Mathematics of Data Science: Advanced statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques for the analysis and processing of large datasets in real-time.
- Financial Technology: Development, analysis, and validation of mathematical models and methods for solving complex problems in finance.
Admission Criteria
The main criteria for selecting postgraduate students include:
- Overall grade of the diploma
- Ranking in the year of graduation
- Grade in undergraduate courses related to the postgraduate program
- Performance in the diploma thesis (if required at the undergraduate level)
- Other relevant postgraduate degrees
- Research, professional, or technological activity of the candidate
- Letters of recommendation
- Personal interview
- Needs of the organization from which the candidate comes (if applicable) and the candidate's prospects
Announcement of Interest
The postgraduate program invites expressions of interest from graduates of Technical, Economic, and Technological disciplines. The program offers the opportunity to delve into the subjects and tools of mathematical modeling and follow one of the three distinct directions provided.
