Program Overview

The University of Lille offers a program in poetry, led by Shehérazade Madjidi, responsible for the Cultural Action of the Literary Center Escales des lettres and the Lille Poetry Market.


Program Description

The program, "Lire et écrire en poésie" (Reading and Writing Poetry), is designed for individuals who enjoy playing with words and exploring their creativity. The program aims to help participants discover their writing style, imagine poetic forms, and create new works. Through simple and playful exercises, participants will be able to tap into their inspiration and write poetry.


Program Details

  • The program is held every Thursday from 17:30 to 19:30 in room A1.405, Pont-de-Bois.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to explore their imagination, create new works, and discover the world of poetry.
  • The program will also include participation in the 3rd Lille Poetry Market, which will take place on December 12-14, 2025, at the TRIPOSTAL.
  • The market will feature debates, workshops, and readings, providing a unique opportunity for participants to engage with poets, editors, and other literature enthusiasts.

Program Leader

Shehérazade Madjidi is the leader of the program and is responsible for the Cultural Action of the Literary Center Escales des lettres and the Lille Poetry Market.
