Program Overview

The Master's Degree Course in Planning and Management of Tourist and Cultural Systems (PMSTC) aims to provide training in the analysis and organized management of all components of the tourist sector, as well as the multiple socio-cultural phenomena of a territory. This training course aims to equip students with specialized knowledge and study tools regarding sustainability, territorial planning in a systemic key, tourist development policies, reading economic phenomena, tourist communication, tourist and cultural management, national and international legislation, and the study of socio-cultural, environmental, and artistic dynamics.

Program Objectives

The course presents a well-balanced study path between economic, business, and management components, and also includes didactic activities in the legal, social, geographical, and artistic fields related to the tourism and cultural production industry (including cinema). This completes the necessary competence framework, allowing for the formation of a modern professional figure capable of reading the tourist and cultural potential of a territory for its economic enhancement and understanding the most sustainable strategies for the development of destinations with such vocations.

The Department promotes international mobility through programs like Erasmus+ and Global Thesis, offering the opportunity to carry out study or traineeship periods abroad. Particular attention is dedicated to the teaching of foreign languages, an essential tool for supporting the internationalization of training.
