Program Overview

The Landscape Architect program at SLU aims to educate students in the field of landscape architecture, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and manage sustainable and attractive environments.

• Naturkunskap 2 (can be replaced with Biologi 1, Kemi 1, and Fysik 1a or Fysik 1b1 + 1b2)
• Samhällskunskap 1b or 1a1 + 1a2
• Alternatively, students can meet the requirements with:
  • Matematik fortsättning nivĺ 1b or nivĺ 1c
  • Naturkunskap nivĺ 2 (can be replaced with Biologi nivĺ 1, Kemi nivĺ 1, and Fysik nivĺ 1a1 + 1a2 or Fysik nivĺ 1b)
  • Samhällskunskap nivĺ 1b or nivĺ 1a1 + 1a2

Program Structure

The program consists of 300 credits, divided into:

• 180 credits of compulsory courses
• 75 credits of elective courses
• 15 credits of independent work (bachelor's thesis)
• 30 credits of independent work (master's thesis)
