Iran University of Science & Technology (IUST) is a prominent technical university established in 1929 in Tehran, Iran. Initially known as the Governmental Technical Institute, it evolved into the Advanced Art College before becoming the Iran Faculty of Science and Technology in 1972. In 1978, it gained full university status and became IUST. It is recognized as one of the leading technical institutions in Iran.
