Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is a renowned art school and museum established in 1805. It holds the distinction of being the first art museum and school in the United States. PAFA's Historic Landmark Building (HLB) will be temporarily closed for renovations from July 8, 2024, until Fall 2025. The renovations focus on upgrading the HVAC system to ensure better climate control and safeguard the valuable collection. During this time, PAFA's greatest artworks will be on view through traveling exhibitions, and the permanent collection can be accessed online through the Digital Guide on Bloomberg Connects.
