Hasanuddin University (Unhas) hosted the "Pertamina Ide Gila Energy Competition 2017" on February 7, 2017. The competition aimed to encourage innovative ideas and technologies related to renewable energy sources. The event was part of a roadshow that visited several universities across Indonesia, including ITB Bandung, Unhas, Surabaya, and UI Depok. The competition aimed to raise awareness about the importance of alternative energy sources and encourage young innovators to contribute to solving the energy crisis in Indonesia.
