The Entry-Level Master of Science in Respiratory Therapy (MSRT) program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become competent respiratory therapists.

Additional Expenses

The cost of travel to clinical rotations varies by student, depending on factors such as rotation location, number of sites, travel distance, and type of automobile. Health insurance is required, and students may opt to enroll in UTMB's insurance plans or provide proof of insurance coverage. Immunizations, drug tests, background checks, and fingerprinting are also required, with variable costs. Students are responsible for costs associated with centralized applications related to clinical rotations at affiliated hospitals, as well as all transportation and per diem costs.
