Introduction to Trinity Fellows

The Trinity Fellows Program develops leaders committed to social and economic justice, rooted in Marquette University's mission to promote justice and faith through service. The program invites nonprofit organizations to apply to host a Fellow for a 21-month term, during which Fellows serve at community-based organizations while earning a master's degree at Marquette University.

Program Overview

Trinity Fellows participate in a 21-month study/work program, earning a master's degree in one of 15 fields at Marquette University. In addition to full-time graduate studies, Fellows work with a local nonprofit organization18 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week over the summer.

Eligibility

To be eligible, student applicants must have completed a full-time service term with programs such as the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Public Allies, or City Year, or have at least two years of full-time experience at a nonprofit organization.

Trinity Fellows Core Courses

The program includes three core courses focused on urban issues:

• Trends in the Social Sector: Social Innovation and Systems Change
• The Nature of Cities, Urban Policy and Politics
• Social Justice, Social Activism

Fees and Terms

• Agency Fee: $1,750 per month, totaling $36,750 over the 21-month fellowship term
• Fellowship Term: September 2026 May 2028
• Expected Fall Enrollment: 12 Fellows
