Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is offered by the Woody L. Hunt College of Business at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Executive MBA
The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a hybrid 16-month cohort-based program designed for leadership in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Candidates with at least 5 years of managerial experience, seeking to enhance their understanding and ability to integrate business disciplines with their managerial skills and leadership effectiveness, are best served by this format.
EMBA Features
- The UTEP EMBA is designed for entrepreneurs, managers, and leaders who require flexible and convenient online coursework with bi-monthly Saturday in-class sessions.

Admission to the EMBA Program
Applicants must submit the following to be considered for admission:
- Online Application for Admission into a Graduate Degree Program.
- Official transcript from an accredited institution demonstrating completion of a four-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in the case of an international institution) and official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
- One-page Statement of Purpose.
- Resume.
- Two letters of reference from professional and/or academic sources.
- Evidence demonstrating English proficiency (for non-native English speakers).
- GMAT (or GRE) scores (optional).
Program Cost
The 2026 Executive MBA Program costs $45,000, which includes:
- Tuition & registration fees
- Digital textbooks, cases, materials, and software
- Lodging (double occupancy), ground transportation, and some meals for the International Research Course (airfare is not included)
