Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate programs at VIT include:

• Nationality: The applicants for admission should be a Resident Indian National and should have studied in regular, full-time, and formal education schools located in India in the preceding two years.
• Age Limit: Candidates whose Date of Birth falls on or after 01.07.2006 are eligible to apply.
• Course-wise Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for each course are as follows:
  • Integrated M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with Virtusa: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Integrated M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science): A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Integrated M.Tech. Software Engineering: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Integrated M.Tech. Artificial Intelligence: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • Integrated M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security): A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • Integrated M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Computational and Data Science): A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
