Introduction to the 2025 Winter Break Off-Campus Study Abroad Program

The university is launching the 2025 winter break international organization practice and off-campus study abroad program. The following are the specific details of the program:

Program Content

• The program includes three projects:
  • International Organization Internship Preparatory Camp (Domestic Version) in Shanghai and Yangzhou, scheduled from January 18 to 25, with a project fee of 5,800 yuan (excluding transportation and meal costs).
  • Singapore Cross-Cultural Exchange and Excellent Leadership Study Abroad Program in Singapore, scheduled from January 19 to 26, with a project fee of 9,800 yuan (excluding transportation and meal costs).
  • "New Quality Productivity" Cross-Disciplinary Research Project in Singapore, scheduled from January 12 to 19, with a project fee of 11,900 yuan (excluding transportation and meal costs).

Enrollment Conditions

• The enrollment conditions include:
  • Supporting the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, loving the socialist motherland, having good ideological and moral qualities, and being physically and mentally healthy.
  • Being a full-time non-directed graduate student of the university, with excellent academic performance, significant research capabilities, and outstanding development potential.
  • Being honest and trustworthy, having good moral qualities, and adhering to the spirit of science.
• Priority funding will be given to students who:
  • Have been awarded the title of "Top Ten University Students" or "Top Ten Innovative and Entrepreneurial Stars" by the university.
  • Have served or are currently serving as a main student cadre or a member of the Research Graduate Youth Marxist Training Class.
  • Come from families with economic difficulties or are orphans, disabled, or children of martyrs or retired soldiers.

Funding and Quotas

• The total number of funded students is not more than 40.
• The funding amount is 5,000 yuan per student for participating in international projects and 3,800 yuan per student for participating in domestic projects.
• Students from families with special economic difficulties who participate in international projects will receive funding of 80% of the project cost.

Work Flow

• The work flow includes:
  • Personal registration: Students fill out the "Huazhong Agricultural University Graduate Study Abroad Program Funding Application Form".
  • College review and recommendation: The college reviews and recommends the applicants, clarifies whether the college provides funding support and the amount, and recommends school funding.
  • Quota determination: The Graduate School organizes a review to determine the funding list and announces it publicly.
  • Follow-up work: After receiving the project invitation or notice, students pay the project fees and handle visa and other related procedures.

• Students need to handle their own passport applications.
• Before departure, students need to log in to the university's "Student Outbound Platform - Dispatch Approval" and complete the approval process.
