نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Program Overview
The postgraduate studies in Modeling and Simulation of Foundry Processes are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in foundries as engineers responsible for developing new technological processes and optimizing existing solutions.
Program Description
The program is divided into four thematic blocks. The first block covers theoretical issues related to numerical methods and mathematical models used in CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) programs. The second block focuses on reverse engineering, using 3D scanning as an example. The third block deals with CAD 3D modeling, teaching students how to prepare 3D geometries for foundry technologies. The final block covers the preparation and execution of computer simulations and the interpretation of results.
Program Curriculum
- Krystalizacja and stygnicie odlewµw in computer simulations
- Podstawy inynierii odwrotnej in odlewnictwie on the example of 3D scanning
- Techniki przygotowania geometrii CAD 3D for odlewniczych technologies
- Podstawy symulacji stygnicia odlewµw

Graduate Profile
Graduates of the program will acquire the knowledge, skills, and social competences necessary to work in foundries as engineers responsible for developing new technological processes and optimizing existing solutions. They will be able to prepare computer models of castings and use them in computer simulations, as well as interpret the results of these simulations.
