Introduction to the Program

The Postgraduate Studies in Accessibility and Audit are designed to prepare specialists in accessibility who can take on the role of accessibility coordinators equipped with interdisciplinary knowledge and broad skills. These specialists will be able to analyze situations and needs of people with disabilities, assess the accessibility of environments and services, plan and coordinate actions to improve accessibility, and collaborate with various entities to implement accessibility measures.

Program Description

The program aims to provide students with specialist knowledge and skills in the field of accessibility, including:

• Analysis of situations and needs of people with disabilities
• Assessment of the accessibility of environments and services
• Planning and coordination of actions to improve accessibility
• Collaboration with various entities to implement accessibility measures
• Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of actions taken to improve accessibility
• Continuous improvement of actions and strategies for improving accessibility
• Conducting training and education on accessibility
• Creating educational materials on accessibility
• Acquiring funds from programs that allow for the introduction of accessible solutions
• Implementing regulations and standards related to accessibility and coordinating actions related to obtaining certificates and awards related to accessibility

Target Group

The postgraduate studies are addressed to:

• People who want to pursue the profession of accessibility coordinator, whose tasks are specified in the Act of July 19, 2019, on ensuring accessibility for people with special needs, Article 14
• People interested in digital, architectural, communicative, and informational accessibility, in particular, employees of public and private institutions, architects, interior designers, urban planners, IT specialists, marketing and PR specialists, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and other people involved in designing and implementing accessibility measures
• People who want to enrich their knowledge and skills in creating accessible spaces, information, and communication for various social groups, including people with disabilities

V Edition

Duration and Schedule

IV Edition

• 2 semesters, from October 25, 2025, to June 20, 2026
• Classes will be held on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with an average of 8 hours of classes each day

V Edition

• 2 semesters, from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027
• Classes will be held on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with an average of 8 hours of classes each day

Admission Requirements

• Applications are accepted through the recruitment platform
• The number of places is limited to 35

Tuition Fees

• 5,500 PLN (payment possible in two installments: 3,000 PLN and 2,500 PLN)

Additional Information

• Classes will be held in Polish
• The program is organized by the Faculty of Humanities, AGH University of Science and Technology
• Graduates will receive a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies in Accessibility and Audit at the AGH University of Science and Technology

Graduate Profile

Graduates of the program will possess specialist knowledge and skills in the field of accessibility, including:

• Knowledge of national and international accessibility standards and regulations
• Knowledge of institutions and programs that support the creation of accessible solutions
• Ability to create and implement a plan for improving accessibility
• Ability to design, coordinate, and evaluate the implementation of accessibility solutions in architecture, transport, digital technologies, information, and communication
• Ability to assess and test accessible solutions and coordinate actions for their implementation
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects related to accessibility
• Knowledge of tools and technologies that support accessibility
• Communication skills to provide support in accessing information about a given entity and its services
• Ability to work with people with different needs and requirements
• Ability to represent the interests of people with disabilities and willingness to work towards creating a more accessible and inclusive society
