نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Program Overview
The BIM Coordinator postgraduate studies are designed for individuals who want to manage the creation and coordination of multi-branch digital models using BIM technology. The program has a practical character, allowing students to acquire both hard and soft skills necessary for leading contemporary design and construction processes.
Program Description
The BIM Coordinator program is addressed to people working or associated with the construction, architectural, or surveying industry, or those who plan to work as BIM coordinators in such projects. This includes individuals employed in the private sector (design, implementation, management) and those working in local and national administration. The program is also aimed at individuals associated with the IT industry who want to offer services in the field of software supporting BIM technology, as well as those responsible for managing and coordinating BIM and GIS data in the design and construction process.
Program Structure
The program consists of two semesters (October 2025 - September 2026) and is designed to provide students with practical knowledge related to projects using BIM technology, including open standards. The curriculum includes:
- Familiarization with adequate ISO standards
- Exercises with real tender documentation and related formal and technical aspects
- Creation and implementation of standardization of technology and processes involving BIM in the organization
- Selection, implementation, and effective use of various technologies and tools
- Basics of technical and formal standardization of data and processes
- Proper design in BIM technology
- Implementation of documentation circulation using CDE platforms
- Model verification, analysis, and conflict resolution
- Effective communication
Graduate Profile
Graduates of the BIM Coordinator program will acquire competencies related to the effective implementation of digital construction technology in procedures and processes related to design, execution, handover, and maintenance of objects. These competencies will include both hard skills (including coordination and creation of correct BIM models) and soft skills related to BIM processes, including formal processes. The program covers advanced technological elements, such as integration with GIS systems, processing of UAV photogrammetric data, programming elements, and the use of AI/ML methods for BIM data analysis.
