Introduction to Integrated Risk Management

During this module, students will:

- Apply practical tools such as re/insurance contracts, captive strategies, and financial instruments to manage real-world risk exposures.
- Explore risk modelling techniques including Value-at-Risk (VaR) using parametric, historical, and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Strengthen career prospects or prepare for postgraduate study by gaining high-demand expertise in compliance, regulation, and financial risk strategy.

Entry Requirements
To be successful on this course:
- Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in any discipline.
- If applicants have a lower result or an unrelated qualification, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of 3 or more years of relevant work experience (Recognised Prior Learning).
