Program Co-op

The Co-op program is a new form of cooperation between science and business, enabling the best students to undertake an internship during their studies.

Program Details

• The program has an elite character, designed for the best students who meet the employer's requirements.
• Students apply for a job and go through a recruitment process at the university and with the employer.
• Candidates must have a good grade average (minimum 4.0), a recommendation from the faculty, and positive results from a social competence diagnosis.
• The employer decides on the recruitment result based on a qualifying conversation with the candidate.
• The student is available to the employer for a period of 2 to 5 months, with a working time range of half to full-time, depending on individual agreements.
• The first month of the internship is financed by the university, and subsequent months are financed by the employer based on an internship agreement.
• The monthly salary is at least 4700 PLN brutto, equivalent to a full-time position.

Work Forms

• Work can take various forms, such as integrating the student into the organization's processes or projects, or assigning an individual project to the student by the employer.
• The student receives a supervisor in the company who provides training, projects, and guidelines.

Academic Year 2025/2026

• The Co-op program is inspired by a similar program at the University of Waterloo in Canada.
• Students can participate in the program during the academic year 2025/2026.
• The program allows students to gain professional experience and build relationships with potential employers.

Participation Requirements

• Students must have a good grade average (minimum 4.0) and a recommendation from the faculty.
• Students must also pass a social competence diagnosis and a qualifying conversation with the employer.
