Introduction to the 2026 Singapore University of Technology and Design MTD Master's Program

The International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Henan University is organizing students to participate in the 2026 Singapore University of Technology and Design MTD Master's Program. This program aims to expand students' international vision, enhance their innovation awareness, academic, and research capabilities.

Program Content

The program provides a direct admission pathway for third-year and fourth-year undergraduate students of Henan University. Students who submit application materials and pass the interview by the Singapore University of Technology and Design will receive a master's admission notice. They can enroll in the university in September of the same year they graduate and pursue a one-year full-time master's degree course. Upon completing their studies and meeting the graduation requirements, they will receive a master's degree certificate issued by the Singapore University of Technology and Design, which can be certified by the Education Department's Service Center.

Application Requirements

Eligibility

• Support the leadership of the Communist Party and love the country, with good political quality and no record of violating laws or disciplines.
• Be a full-time third-year or fourth-year undergraduate student of Henan University.
• The program is open to all majors and departments (specific situations can be consulted with the project cooperation teacher).
• Have an average GPA of 3.2 or above (out of 4.0) or 4.0 or above (out of 5.0), or an average score of 80 or above (out of 100).
• Have a good command of English: a score of 500 or above in the College English Test Band 6, or a TOEFL score of 85, or an IELTS score of 6.0. Note: For bilingual master's programs, English language proficiency certificates are not required.

3. Scanned copy of the passport homepage
4. 2-inch white background JPG format electronic photo
5. Original and officially translated PDF scanned copies of undergraduate graduation certificate, degree certificate, and transcript
6. IELTS/TOEFL score report or College English Test Band 6 score report and official translation PDF scanned copies (only for English-taught master's programs)
7. Personal statement (about 500 words, written in English, including personal introduction, experience, and reasons for applying for the master's program, as well as plans after graduation)
8. English version of the personal resume
9. Original and translated China Education Ministry's online verification report
10. Portfolio and other supporting materials

Application Procedure

1. Applicants log in to the "Henan University Foreign Affairs Service System" and fill out the project registration form.
2. Applicants submit the project application materials (packaged and sent to the email, with the email title named in the format "2026 Henan University Application + School Name + Name").
3. Participate in the unified organization's Singapore University of Technology and Design project interview (the first round of interviews will be held in late December 2025, and the specific time will be notified separately).
4. After passing the interview, students will receive the Singapore University of Technology and Design Master's Admission Notice.
