Introduction to the Program
The School of Economics at Henan University has a long history of development, dating back to the National Fifth Zhongshan University's Department of Economics. In 2002, it was officially renamed the School of Economics. The school currently has three first-level doctoral programs in Applied Economics, Theoretical Economics, and Statistics, as well as three postdoctoral research stations. It offers 23 second-level master's degree programs and three professional master's degree programs in fields like Financial Engineering. The school provides undergraduate programs in Economics, Public Finance, Finance, International Economics and Trade, and Economic Statistics.
Program Overview
The Applied Economics program is a discipline that applies economic principles and analytical methods to study the basic theories and operating rules of various fields related to economic activities. It has the characteristics of being theoretical, practical, and directly serving economic construction. The program has seven research directions:

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Support the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the socialist system, abide by the Constitution and laws, and have good conduct.
- Have a bachelor's degree and at least two years of work experience after graduation.
- Have a certain level of English proficiency.

The program adopts a learning mode that combines concentrated and decentralized teaching, online and offline learning, and completes the teaching plan within 2 years. The curriculum includes:

Tuition Fees
The tuition fee for the program is 20,000 yuan, which is paid in one installment. The fee does not include the cost of textbooks, materials, travel, accommodation, and other expenses.
Certificate
Upon completing the program, students will receive a certificate of completion. Those who meet the conditions for a master's degree in Applied Economics can apply for the degree.
Other Information
The program is a non-academic education program. The school will issue a certificate of completion to students who pass the examination. Students who meet the requirements for a master's degree in Applied Economics can apply for the degree.
