Summer School SAS 2026

Overview

The Summer School SAS 2026 is an event organized by the Faculty of Arts, offering courses in Slovak language and culture.

• Date of the Event: July 27th - August 14th, 2026
• Arrival Day: July 26th, 2026 (Sunday)
• Departure Day: August 15th, 2026 (Saturday)

• Opening Ceremony: Monday, July 27th, 2026, at 16:00 (Aula UK, afárikovo námestie, Bratislava)
• Welcome Evening and Reception: Monday, July 27th, 2026, at 17:00 (atrium of the Faculty of Arts, UK, Gondova 2, Bratislava)
• Closing Ceremony: Friday, August 14th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (Aula UK, afárikovo námestie, Bratislava)
• Reception: Friday, August 14th, 2026, at 14:00 (atrium of the Faculty of Arts, UK, Gondova 2, Bratislava)

• A1.1. (Total Beginner): Language seminars + conversations
• A1.2. (Beginner): Language seminars + conversations
• A2 (Pre-intermediate): Language seminars + conversations
• B1 (Intermediate): Language seminars + lectures
• B2 (Upper-intermediate): Language seminars + lectures
• C1+C2 (Advanced): Slovak literature + lectures
• C1+C2 (Advanced): Translation interpretation + lectures

Scholarship

• Includes: Tuition, study materials, cultural program, coffee breaks, open buffets, accommodation, board
• Does Not Include: Travel expenses, health insurance, public transport tickets

Self-Payers

• Tuition: 1000 EUR (classes, study materials, cultural program, coffee breaks, open buffets)
• Administration Fee: 50 EUR (non-refundable)
• Trips Around Slovakia: Price to be specified later

Registration

• Registration at the University: Monday, July 27th, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 (SE) at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava, Gondova 2
• Registration Process: Divided into two stations - course registration and meal voucher distribution for scholarship students

Dress Code

• Official clothes are recommended for the opening ceremony (no jeans or t-shirts, but a suit and tie are not necessary)

Application Form

• Available in Spring 2026 for the 62nd Summer School SAS 2026
• Unique code required for scholarship students, distributed after the selection process at the embassy or lectureship

Board

• Breakfast provided in the Student Residence
• Lunches at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University
• Dinners purchased individually by participants through food vouchers

Program

• Detailed program of the Summer School SAS 2026 will be available in the beginning of July 2026
• Participants can change their group during the first two days after consulting with their teacher
