Student Mobility Center
The Student Mobility Center (SMC) at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, is responsible for coordinating international collaborative activities, including student exchange programs, electives, and research collaborations. The SMC functions under the direct supervision of the Dean and has three faculty coordinators who report to the Dean.
Objectives of the Student Mobility Center
The objectives of the SMC are:
- To facilitate providing of learning opportunities for outgoing and incoming students in our departments
- To coordinate and liaison with the host institutions/departments/faculty for smooth functioning of the student learning opportunities
- To provide monthly data pertaining to the activities to the leadership team
- To coordinate with the faculty coordinators nominated by the HoDs of KMC, Manipal for effective implementation and working of the student learning opportunities
- To assist students of KMC, Manipal who would like to pursue their elective/exchange opportunities elsewhere
Information for International Visiting Students
International medical students from different parts of the world can visit KMC, Manipal, for elective experiences. The applications must be submitted to the office of international affairs and collaborations. The required documents include:
