Introduction to U-SURF

The UNIST Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (U-SURF) provides an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate students to experience interdisciplinary research in a laboratory setting. The program is designed for 3rd or 4th year undergraduate students from across Korea and offers research scholarships and residence fees.

Program Details

• The program duration is from July 4th to July 28th.
• Participants will be assigned to laboratories based on their interest and will undertake research topics using state-of-the-art facilities. {{ { { { { { { { { {
• Students will be paid a stipend of around KRW 800,000 and provided with free accommodation at the student dormitory.
• Upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded the Certificate of U-SURF Completion.

Application Requirements

The required documents for application include:

• Online application form
• Personal statement (including transcript and certificate of enrollment)
• Optional: Official English test score

Application Period and Announcement

• The application period is from May 30th to June 8th.
• The announcement of successful candidates will be made on June 24th.
