Introduction to the Advanced Management Program (AMP)
The Advanced Management Program (AMP) is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate rapidly changing trends in new technologies with management in a creative manner. The primary purpose of the AMP is to attain a global level of proficiency in engineering and natural sciences, enabling participants to develop new growth engines.
Program Overview
The AMP is a 16-week program that consists of 24 lectures, conducted on Wednesdays from 19:00 to 22:00. The program is tailored to CEOs and employees of large companies, venture companies, and small/medium businesses, as well as managers of research institutions and individuals working in specialized jobs.
Eligibility
The program is open to:
- CEOs and employees of large companies, venture companies, and small/medium businesses
- Managers of research institutions founded by the government
- People working in specialized jobs (lawyers, doctors, patent attorneys, accountants, etc.)
- Individuals with equivalent qualifications
Tuition and Fees
The tuition fee for the program is KRW 4 million, with an additional student association fee and overseas training fee paid separately.
Course Composition
The program consists of three main components:
- Understanding the Trends of New Technology: This component covers a broad range of knowledge in industries that will be new growth engines in the 21st century, including:
- Biotechnology
- Robotics technology
- Graphene
- Genetic engineering
- Environmental engineering
- Creative Management that Creates Values: This component focuses on creative management, a new paradigm in management that creates new values by going beyond the framework of past management methods. Topics include:
- Venture ecosystem and startup strategies
- Changing management environment and future management
- Open innovation and disruptive innovation
- Global era, the way forward for our businesses to take
- Value of big data and future analysis
- Finance/accounting strategies for the age of creative economy
- CRM strategies
- Digital age, concept of strategy and leadership
- CEO Development: This component aims to reinforce the basic virtues of CEOs and basic capabilities of managers through lectures on various cultures and humanities, including:
- Human, design, and management
- How to build business networks
- Problem-solving process and understanding
- Special CEO lectures
Liberal Arts Lectures for Couples
The program also offers liberal arts lectures for couples, covering topics such as:
- Health
- Music
- Asset management
Application and Admission
The application period for the program is typically from March 9th to March 13th, with an announcement of successful applicants on March 9th and registration from March 12th to March 19th. The entrance ceremony is held on March 28th, and the completion ceremony is held on July 4th.
Documents to Submit
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Entrance application (form uploaded on the website)
- 1 copy of proof of employment or business registration certificate
- Pamphlet or introduction profile of the affiliated organization
- 2 photos (3cm x 4cm) of the applicant
- Admission fee: KRW 50,000
