Koþ University offers a WordPress training program, specifically designed for department members who will be responsible for basic site edits and content updates.

Program Description

The WordPress: Level 1 (Introduction) Training is an online course that occurs at the beginning of each month. This introductory course teaches the basics of WordPress and the specifics of KU WordPress sites. Participants will learn how to log in to the WordPress dashboard, navigate the editing and site-management tools, and perform tasks such as adding text, images, and links.

Program Objective

The program aims to equip department members with the necessary skills to take responsibility for basic site edits and content updates, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and available to prospective students, current students, parents, faculty, staff, and the community.

Program Context

Koþ University has over 600 sub-sites, and the training program is designed to support the university's goal of maintaining accurate and timely information across all sites. By having multiple site administrators, the university can ensure that its online presence is consistently updated and relevant.
