Introduction to the Eco-Conception Certification Program
The Eco-Conception certification program is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to integrate eco-conception principles into their organizations. This program is offered by Grenoble INP-UGA and is tailored to address the environmental challenges faced by businesses today.
Program Overview
- Duration: 2 days per month for 10 months
- Location: GRENOBLE Presqu'île
- Format: Formation continue (continuing education)
- Objective: To provide participants with the competencies required to conceive products, services, or processes that minimize environmental impact while enhancing business sustainability.

Presentation
The program focuses on imparting strategic and operational competencies to participants, enabling them to integrate eco-conception into their business practices. It covers the fundamentals of eco-conception, life cycle analysis, and the deployment of eco-conception strategies within an organization.
Objectives
- To accompany the conception of a product, service, or process by constructing an eco-conception approach that considers environmental challenges.
- To calculate and interpret the environmental impacts of products, services, or processes throughout their life cycle to identify action levers.
- To anchor the eco-conception approach within a global strategy by elaborating an action plan to pilot change among stakeholders.

Admission Criteria
- Required Formation: Bac +3 or equivalent.
- Fee: 7,600 €.

- Prerequisites: Fundamentals in project management, notions of product/offering development processes.
Admission Procedure
- Step 1 - Examination of the Application File: The application file must be returned completed to the Professional Training Department of Grenoble INP - UGA before September 2026.
- Step 2 - Interview: With the members of the Admission Committee to evaluate the candidate's motivations and potential to follow such a training program.
- Step 3 - Results and Admission: Communication of results to candidates by mail. Entry into training is contingent upon obtaining the corresponding financing.

- 1. Fundamentals, Challenges (climate change, energy, resources, substances), and Levers of Eco-Conception.
- 2. Life Cycle Analysis: General method, tools, and exploitation of results.
- 3. Eco-Conception Approach in the Company: Strategies and deployment, product/service approaches, business model.
- 4. Synergies between Eco-Conception and Circular Economy.
Certification
The certifying organization is Grenoble INP - UGA. The evaluation of competencies is carried out individually by a jury, composed of teachers and professionals, after the presentation of the certification file and discussion. This certificate of competences is obtained by validating the block 4 of the RNCP title 39670.
Organization of the Curriculum
The program is supported by the National Research Agency, within the framework of the Future Investment Plan PIA3, with the attributive aid agreement number: ANR-17-NCUN-0012.
