To be admitted into Year 2, students must have a Bachelor of Science or engineering in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a minimum level of English of TOEFL 550 or equivalent.
Program
The program is a 3-year (6 semesters) course, with the following structure:
- Year 1: Core curriculum
- Year 2: Semester 7 and 8 curricula
- Year 3: Semester 9 curriculum, with an elective semester in one of two cross-disciplinary programs (IPEM or MANINTEC)
- Semester 10: End of Studies Project, which can be completed overseas or in France, in a research laboratory or in industry
International
The language of instruction is French, and internships abroad are available. The program has many agreements with partners around the globe, offering exchange programs, dual-degree programs, internships, and more.
Prospects
The program leads to many jobs in the energy, transport, automotive, and aerospace sectors, as well as in the environment and industrial processes. Graduates can expect to have acquired skills in analysis, modeling, and simulation of dynamical systems, design and optimization of controlled systems, and more.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The program aims to provide students with the following skills:
- Analysis, modeling, and simulation of dynamical systems
- Design and optimization of controlled systems
- Design of embedded control systems
- System supervision, monitoring, and reconfiguration
- Acquisition and signal processing
