Introduction to the University Program
东北师范大学 (Northeast Normal University) is a full-time ordinary university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key construction university of the "211 Project" and the "985 Project" innovation platform, and a "Double First-Class" construction university. With the approval of the Ministry of Education and the National Sports Bureau, the university implements separate admissions for the Sports Training, Martial Arts, and Traditional Ethnic Sports majors.
Admission Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must meet the 2023 high school entrance examination registration requirements and have participated in the ordinary high school entrance examination registration organized by the provincial-level admission examination institution in their place of origin.
- Candidates must be in good physical health.
- Candidates must possess a second-level athlete (or above) technical grade title. For certain projects, such as speed skating, short track speed skating, cross-country skiing, figure skating, snowboarding (parallel giant slalom), track and field, volleyball (non-libero), football, table tennis, tennis, and badminton, candidates must possess a first-level athlete (or above) technical grade title.
- The candidate's athletic technical grade specialty must match the recruitment specialty of the university.
Athletic Technical Grade Requirements
- The athletic technical grade certificate approval date for winter projects is between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2022.
- The athletic technical grade certificate approval date for summer projects (including martial arts and traditional ethnic sports majors) is between January 1, 2013, and March 10, 2023.

- Sports Training:
- Speed skating: 0-4 students, tuition fee 9,000 yuan per year, 4-year program.
- Short track speed skating: 0-2 students, tuition fee 9,000 yuan per year, 4-year program.
- Cross-country skiing: 0-2 students, tuition fee 9,000 yuan per year, 4-year program.
- Figure skating: 0-1 students, tuition fee 9,000 yuan per year, 4-year program.

Registration and Examination
Registration
- Candidates must register through the "Chinese Sports Culture and Education Network" and the "Physical Education Alliance APP" within the specified time.
- Candidates must verify their athletic technical grade information during registration.
Examination
- The examination includes a sports specialty examination and a cultural examination.
- The sports specialty examination is a national unified examination or a regional unified examination, with a full score of 100 points.
- The cultural examination is organized by the Education Department's Examination Center, with examination subjects including Chinese, mathematics, politics, and English, each with a full score of 150 points, and a total score of 600 points.
Admission Principles
Cultural Score Requirements
- The minimum admission control score for cultural scores is 180 points for second-level athletes, 150 points for first-level athletes, and 130 points for athletes of a higher level.
Sports Specialty Score Requirements
- The minimum admission control score for sports specialty scores is 60 points, with specific requirements for certain projects:
- Volleyball (non-libero): 75 points.
- Basketball: 80 points.
- Football: 85 points.
Comprehensive Evaluation
- Candidates are evaluated based on their cultural scores and sports specialty scores, with a ratio of 3:7.
- The comprehensive score is calculated as follows: (cultural score / 6) × 30% + sports specialty score × 70%.
- Candidates are admitted based on their comprehensive score, with priority given to first-choice candidates.
Other Matters
Qualification Review
- The university will conduct a qualification review after enrollment, and candidates who do not meet the requirements or provide false information will be disqualified.
Degree Awarding
- Candidates who complete the undergraduate program and meet the requirements will be awarded a graduation certificate and a bachelor's degree in education.
