Testimonial
Natalia Irena, Doctor: Dermatovenereologist, Assistant Teacher at the Medical Education Center of the Medical Faculty of Novosibirsk State University, Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Recipient of the Michael Hornstein Scholarship Year: 2014 Specialty: English-language residency program in dermatovenereology Country: Russia
The residency program is very busy, with many lectures and interdisciplinary workshops that require preliminary preparation and presentation of individual topics and clinical cases. These activities provide an excellent opportunity to learn new things and look at our profession from a different angle. Of course, we experience a lot of work and self-improvement, but seeing the example of the program's teachers and their ability to find an approach to each patient, as well as conduct such fascinating lectures and workshops, motivates us to work even harder. Thanks to the support of the university and the program's teachers, I was able to present the results of my graduate work at Russian and international forums and conferences. Additionally, I had a unique opportunity to attend the International Summer Academy of Practical Dermatology in Munich, the Conference of Young Dermatologists in Moscow, and the Course on Pediatric Dermatology in Barcelona. Most importantly, one should choose a specialty based on their interests, as working in a field you enjoy is a great pleasure.
