Program Overview

The "North European Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship" program is a collaborative effort between the university and the University of Oulu in Finland. The program is open to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students.

Program Description

The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum includes courses on technology, design, and business, which are combined to provide a holistic learning experience. The teaching methods used in the program include interactive modes such as flip-classroom, workshops, elevator pitches, teamwork, and team presentations.

Program Details

• Location: Finland (Oulu, Helsinki), Estonia (Tallinn, Tartu), and Sweden (Stockholm)
• Duration: 15 days (tentative) in August 2026
• Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate and graduate students
• Class Size: 16-26 students, with a minimum requirement for the class to be formed
• Program Fees: 2,780 euros + 2,500 yuan (Chinese currency)

Program Introduction

The program has been established since 2014, based on the cooperation agreement between the two universities. Over the past 11 years, 10 cohorts of students have completed the program and received academic credits and certificates from the University of Oulu, which carries the AACSB accreditation. In 2024, the program was approved as an innovation and entrepreneurship credit project, which can be used for credit transfer.
