Introduction to the Accounting Program (ACCA Direction) at Yunnan University

The Accounting Program (ACCA Direction) is a collaborative effort between Yunnan University and Kaibo Financial Education Group. This program aims to cultivate internationalized accounting professionals.

Program Overview

• The program is one of approximately 110 universities in mainland China authorized by ACCA to offer the Accounting Program (ACCA Direction).
• It is a four-year undergraduate program taught by Yunnan University's School of Economics (Accounting School) in cooperation with Kaibo Group.
• 13 ACCA examination courses are taught primarily by foreign teachers with ACCA teaching qualifications and experience.
• All 13 ACCA examination courses use original English textbooks, with 6 basic courses taught entirely in English and 7 professional courses taught in both English and Chinese.
• The teaching schedule for the 13 ACCA examination courses is synchronized with the global ACCA unified examination.

Student Selection Method

• The program plans to recruit 45 students from the 2019 freshmen class.
• Selection is based on voluntary application and a unified English interview.
• Students participating in the selection interview must have a high school English score of 110 or above.
• Selected students and their parents must sign the "Accounting Program (ACCA Direction) Student Admission Agreement" to be admitted.

Tuition Fees

• The tuition fee for the Accounting Program (ACCA Direction) follows the national standard for undergraduate students at Yunnan University.

ACCA Examination Course Training Fees and Other Expenses

• The total ACCA examination course training fee is 48,000 yuan per student, paid annually at 12,000 yuan per year.
• ACCA examination course textbooks, registration fees, and examination fees are borne by the students themselves.

Graduation and Degree Awarding

• Students who complete the required credits for the Accounting Program (ACCA Direction) will be awarded a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Yunnan University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (if they pass the ACCA exams and submit the required papers).
• Students who pass the ACCA 13-course global unified examination and have certain practical experience can obtain the ACCA practitioner qualification certificate.

Application and Examination

• Pre-registration: Interested freshmen download the pre-registration form from the Yunnan University School of Economics (Accounting School) website, fill it out, and email it before August 19th.
• Formal registration: On-site registration is required, providing the admission notice, high school transcript, and other materials.
• English interview: The interview assesses English listening and speaking abilities and the student's comprehensive quality.

• Telephone consultation: Available on specific dates and times.
• QQ consultation: Available from June 10th to August 31st.
• On-site consultation: Available on August 22nd at the Yunnan University School of Economics (Accounting School) multifunctional report hall.
