Introduction to the Program

The Public Administration (MPA) program at Shandong Normal University was established in 2005, making it one of the first MPA programs in Shandong Province. The program is designed to cultivate high-level, professional, and applied management talents.

Program Overview

The MPA program is a non-full-time professional degree program that aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of public administration, including government management, education administration, urbanization and environmental resource management, and social security and management.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a citizen of the People's Republic of China
• Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Have at least 3 years of work experience (or 5 years for those with a junior college diploma or equivalent)
• Meet the physical health standards set by the state and the university
• Pass the entrance examination

Application Procedure

The application procedure consists of two stages: online registration and online confirmation.

1. Online registration: Applicants must register online and fill out the application form, which includes personal information, educational background, and work experience.
2. Online confirmation: After online registration, applicants must confirm their application information and submit supporting materials, such as diplomas, transcripts, and certificates.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the non-full-time MPA program is 20,000 yuan per academic year, paid over three years.

The MPA program at Shandong Normal University has four research areas:

Degree Awarding

Students who complete the program and meet the graduation requirements will be awarded a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree.

Other Information

• Non-full-time students are not provided with dormitory accommodation.
• The program does not offer scholarships or financial aid.
• The university has a research center for public administration, which provides opportunities for students to engage in research projects and academic activities.
