Introduction to the Residency in Clinical Psychology

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine offers a Residency in Clinical Psychology, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association. The program is designed to provide advanced training in clinical psychology, with a focus on preparing graduates for independent practice as health service psychologists.

The Psychology Training Faculty (PTF) are a diverse group of licensed psychologists who work in multiple training programs. The PTF includes approximately 31 full-time psychologists.


Application and Selection Process

Applicants must have completed all requirements for an APA/CPA-approved doctoral program in psychology and a one-year APA/CPA-approved internship. The program accepts applications from individuals who have completed all requirements of a university-based APA/CPA-approved program of postdoctoral education for retraining in clinical or counseling psychology.
