Introduction to the 3+1+1 Program

The 3+1+1 program is a collaborative effort between Hebei University of Technology and the University of Limerick in Ireland. This program offers students the opportunity to study at both institutions and earn a bachelor's and master's degree.

Program Details

3+1+1 Project

• Open majors: Public Management, Social Security, and other majors
• Other majors: Students interested in other majors can take two additional courses and qualify for the program
• Open grade: Third-year students (currently in their sixth semester)
• Admission requirements:
  • Meet the requirements of Hebei University of Technology and the Irish Culture and Education Association
  • Pass all courses in the fourth year and meet the English requirements of the University of Limerick (IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, with no band less than 6.0)

Program Process

1. Years 1-3: Study professional foundation courses at Hebei University of Technology
2. Year 4: Joint undergraduate program between Hebei University of Technology and the University of Limerick (at Hebei University of Technology campus)
3. Year 5: Master's program at the University of Limerick (at University of Limerick campus)
