At the Time of Admission

First Year

Doctoral Dissertation Research Fundamentals Examination (QE)
The graduate school has introduced the Doctoral Dissertation Research Fundamentals Examination (QE) for students enrolled in the pre-doctoral course. Students who pass the QE can complete the pre-doctoral course and qualify for admission to the post-doctoral course. This allows students to allocate time normally spent on writing a master's thesis to research and publishing papers, as well as initiate their post-doctoral research earlier.
