Introduction to the Master's Program

The Master's program is a joint initiative between Southwest University of Finance and Economics and Monash University in Australia. This program offers students the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree in a renowned Australian university while completing part of their coursework in China.

Program Overview

The program is designed for students who have completed their undergraduate studies and are looking to pursue a Master's degree in a field related to banking and finance or business management. The program consists of two parts: the first part is completed in China, where students take four Master's preparatory courses and four professional courses, and the second part is completed in Australia, where students take the remaining courses required for the Master's degree.

Professional Directions

The program offers two professional directions:

1. Banking and Finance: This direction is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the financial sector.
2. Business Management: This direction is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in business management and offers 13 different specializations.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
• Have a good academic record, with an average score of 75 or above
• Have no disciplinary record
• Meet the language requirements, with a valid IELTS or TOEFL score

Application Materials

Students must submit the following materials as part of their application:

• Personal resume
• Academic transcript
• Bachelor's degree certificate and graduation certificate
• Language proficiency test results (if applicable)
• Other supporting materials, such as award certificates or proof of work experience

Training Program

The program consists of two stages:

• Domestic stage: Students take four Master's preparatory courses and four professional courses at Southwest University of Finance and Economics.
• Overseas stage: Students take the remaining courses required for the Master's degree at Monash University in Australia.
