Medical Physics Program
The Medical Physics program is designed to enhance the qualifications of specialists in the field of medical physics, updating and expanding their knowledge in the area of radiation therapy, dosimetry, and quality assurance.
Program Objective
The objective of the program is to provide specialists with advanced knowledge and skills in modern methods of radiation therapy, dosimetry, and quality assurance, as well as the use of advanced equipment and technologies in imaging and radiobiological and dosimetric planning.
Program Concept
The program is developed for specialists with advanced knowledge and experience in the field of radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. The course is aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of modern technologies and methods of radiation therapy, including dosimetry and quality assurance, the use of modern equipment, imaging, and topometric preparation.
Program Structure
The program consists of six modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of medical physics:
- Module 1: Introduction to DLT and CLT
- Module 2: Dosimetry and Quality Assurance
- Module 3: Modern Equipment for Radiation Therapy and Dosimetry
- Module 4: Imaging and Topometric Preparation
- Module 5: Basics of Radiobiology, Dosimetric and Radiobiological Planning
- Module 6: Brachytherapy

- Develop dosimetric plans for radiation therapy with fluence modulation
- Evaluate plans with dose-volume and radiobiological approaches
