Course Overview

The AME On Job Training program is designed to provide students with practical experience in the field of aircraft maintenance engineering. As an institute with over 5 years of experience in the field and having dealt with students and partners from over 40 countries, the program aims to address the biggest challenge in the aviation industry: the ability to get practical experience, especially for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who need this to complete their license requirement of On Job Training in a CAR / Part 145 approved maintenance organization.


Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the AME On Job Training program, students must have:


  • Completed their modules of Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering CAT A or CAT B
  • A Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering

Fee Structure

The total fee for one year of Job Training varies according to the duration and the partner organization. The fees for different partners are as follows:


  • Etihad Airways: USD 18,000
  • GlobalJet: USD 12,000
  • Kuwait Airways: USD 12,000
  • GAES: USD 10,000
  • Mach Technik: USD 10,000 The fees include:
    • Training cost
    • Visa
    • Airport pass
    • Health Insurance Flexible payment plans are available, and students are advised to contact the counselors for further details.

Course Structure

The AME On Job Training program offers packages from 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years of OJT, available for those who want to activate their basic CAT A or CAT B License or gain experience in their Aeronautical Engineering. The program provides students with the opportunity to work on:


  • Line Maintenance
  • Base Maintenance

Accommodation

The institute provides student accommodation that is:


  • 3 minutes walk from the metro station
  • Separate for boys and girls
  • Includes Dewa, WiFi, drinking water, gas, and is fully furnished
  • No smoking and no drinking are allowed
  • Monthly mess is available at an additional cost Note that while the institute assists in finding accommodations, they cannot guarantee them.
