Introduction to the Erasmus+ Programme

The Erasmus+ programme is a European Union-funded initiative that supports international learning and development for teachers and educational staff. Britannia English Academy is a participating institution, offering a range of courses for teachers to improve their English language skills and teaching methodologies.

Course Options

The academy provides various courses, including:

• General English and conversation courses
• English language teaching seminars
• Business English
• Creative methodologies
• CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning)
• Exam preparation (e.g., IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE)
• University lecturers' EMI (English Medium Instruction) course

Course Structure and Pricing

Courses are available in different intensities:

• Intensive course (20 lessons per week): £205 per week, £380 for two weeks
• Intensive course (30 lessons per week): £292 per week, £554 for two weeks Each course includes:
• Free level testing
• Course report
• Language certificate

Eligibility and Application

The Erasmus+ programme is open to educational staff from EU member states and other participating countries. Schools, colleges, and universities must register their interest and submit a proposal to their national agency by the annual deadline. Teachers can choose from a range of courses or request a customized course for their school group.

Accommodation

The academy can provide accommodation options, such as homestay or student residence, for an additional fee.

Course Schedule

Courses start every Monday and are available for various durations. The minimum English level required for each course varies, ranging from A1 to B2.

Britannia English Academy

The academy is certified by the British Council and offers a friendly, familiar environment with a maximum of 10 students per class (12 during summer holidays). The academy is located in the city center of Manchester and provides a flexible schedule, free trial lesson, and a wide range of courses.
