Course Description
Completion of this course may open a career pathway in small and large businesses across a range of industry sectors or government. Potential roles may include:

Successful completion of this course can also be a pathway to enrolling in the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification.

Course Duration
This course will be delivered over a total of 52 weeks, comprising 40 study weeks and 12 weeks of term break.
Entry Criteria
- Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age at enrolment.
- Successfully completed High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent.
- Have sound English literacy skills.
- Provide IELTS certificate showing an overall band 6.0, or
- Undertake Choice Business College's Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment and achieve the following ACSF Levels:
- Learning – Level 3
- Reading – Level 4
- Writing – Level 4
- Oral Communication – Level 4
- Numeracy – Level 4
Course Credit
Credit Transfer is the recognition of learning achieved through formal education and training. Students may apply for credit transfer by submitting an authenticated copy of their previously attained AQF documentation for review.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
All students are offered the opportunity to apply for RPL at enrolment. Students may be granted credit or partial credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience, and/or prior training.
Course Outcome (Awards)
- Successful completion of all twelve (12) units of competencies required to be awarded with an AQF certification.
- Partial completions will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment.

Assessment Methods
Assessments may be conducted through a combination of the following methods:
- Knowledge Questions
- Project Portfolio
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
All students are required by the Australian Government to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If a student does not have a USI, the credential (Certificate & Transcript, or Statement of Attainment) cannot be issued.
