OLLI at UCLA Membership

A community of lifelong learners, the OLLI at UCLA membership begins the quarter you join and lasts for one full year. Membership is required to take OLLI courses, with the exception of Taste of Osher.

Membership Benefits

OLLI at UCLA membership gives you access to:

• Over 200 non-credit courses per year
• Free events exclusively for members
• Invitations to special guest speaker talks
• Leadership opportunities within the OLLI community
• Intergenerational volunteer opportunities at UCLA
• Opportunities to learn about & participate in UCLA research
• Discounts to select UCLA events & retailers
• OLLI member lounge in Westwood

Membership Tiers

There are two tiers of membership:

• Basic Membership $50/year: Basic members enroll at regular course fees
• Plus Membership $295/year: Plus members enroll at significantly reduced course fees paying no more than $40 per course (some exceptions apply). Plus members are also exempt from administrative refund fees and can enroll in most Taste of Osher courses for free.

How to Join and Enroll in Courses

To join and enroll in courses, follow these steps:

1. Visit the OLLI Course Schedule page and select your courses.
2. Add courses to your shopping cart.
3. Proceed to checkout and login or create a MyExtension account.
4. Follow the prompts to continue checkout. If you are a new member or your membership has expired, the system will automatically prompt you to add a membership to your cart.

Michael Williams Memorial Scholarship Program

The Michael Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund provides current and prospective members who demonstrate financial needand a commitment to lifelong learning a free year of OLLI Plus membership. To apply, download the application and submit all required items. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with deadlines as follows:

• Fall Quarter: July 25
• Spring Quarter: January 25
• Winter Quarter: October 25
• Summer Quarter: April 24

Registration and Refund Requests

To register over the phone, transfer between courses, or update your student profile, contact UCLA Extension Registration. Refund requests will be accepted through the close of business on the final refund date. For every refund request totaling $30 or more, a $30 administrative fee is assessed (this fee is waived for Plus members). OLLI membership dues are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
