Program Overview
The Bachelor Fashion Designer in English is a four-year program that combines the heritage of a Parisian fashion school with the demands of the international market. The program is taught entirely in English by Anglo-Saxon lecturers and is designed for students who are passionate about the world of fashion.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a valid secondary school diploma (national or international) and a B2 level in English (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, Cambridge). Entry into the first year requires a high-school diploma (Level 4 certificate or equivalent), while entry into the second year requires a Level 4 certificate plus 60 ECTS in fashion or design, and entry into the third year requires Level 5 or Bac+2 or 120 ECTS in fashion/design.
Admission Process
Admission is by application and interview. Candidates must submit their diplomas, ECTS transcript, CV, and motivation letter. Admissions are open from October to August and are processed within three weeks. Late entry is possible up to two months after the start date, subject to catch-up.
Program Structure
The program is divided into four years:
- Year 1: Experiment without limits, developing creativity by experimenting with different materials and improving observation skills through drawing.
- Year 2: Pattern cutting and catwalk, learning every stage of collection development, including building style dossiers, technical and creative pattern cutting, and technical drawing.
- Year 3: Become a professional designer and specialize, learning to develop iconic pieces, prints, and materials, and choosing a specialism to strengthen skills in knitwear, pattern cutting, or accessories.
- Year 4: Internships and professionalization, undertaking a compulsory six-month internship and having the option of a second six-month placement to accumulate a full year of professional experience.
Assessment Methods
Assessment methods include continuous assessment through coursework and practical assignments, group projects, and professional juries. In Year 3, projects are based on real or simulated briefs covering collection design, modeling, production, and promotion.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the program are as follows:
- Year 1: 12,090 for EU nationals and 13,190 for non-EU nationals
- Year 2: 12,190 for EU nationals and 13,290 for non-EU nationals
- Year 3: 12,290 for EU nationals and 13,390 for non-EU nationals
- Year 4: 1,990 for both EU and non-EU nationals (internship year) A non-refundable application fee of 590 is payable once upon first enrollment.

After graduation, students may enter the workforce or continue their studies with the "Mastčre Créateur de Mode" at Atelier Chardon Savard. Fashion designers may work as part of a team or alone, and their job title and position in the production chain will depend on the size of the organization they work for.
