Bambini & Me Program

The Bambini & Me program is a Reggio Emilia-inspired program designed for children aged 2-3 years old and their parents/caregivers. This program provides an opportunity for children to play, learn, and grow together in a school setting.

About Bambini & Me

The program is designed to help children develop social-emotional skills, explore natural materials, and build autonomy and self-help skills. Caregivers will also have the opportunity to meet other families in the community and learn more about Bennett Day School's early childhood program.

Bambini & Me School-Year Program

The program runs from 9:00 – 11:00 am and is designed for children ages 2-3 years old. All children must be 2 years old by September 1, 2025. The program does not guarantee enrollment in the PreK-12 school program.

School-Year Program Details

Social-Emotional Development & Program Readiness

Bambini students will build their social-emotional skills, nurture their innate curiosities, and explore music, nature, literature, and arts through sensory and open play. Snack time will be offered to help children build autonomy and self-help skills.

A Gentle Approach to Separation

Caregivers will engage in gentle separation, observing from the sidelines and then stepping out of the room. This will help children adjust to the space and learn the routine of the classroom.

Fostering the Caregiver & Educator Partnership

The program aims to build a partnership between caregivers and educators. Interactions will be led, modeled, explained, and encouraged by the educator to coach caregivers in supporting their children. Caregivers will also assist children in age-appropriate social interactions and conflicts.

Program Structure

• The program is 9 weeks long
• Classes are held from 9:00 – 11:00 am
• Caregivers are expected to participate in the program with their children

Pricing Details

The program offers 1-, 2-, and 3-day options:

• 3-Day Program: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, $1,885, 29 classes
• 2-Day Program: Monday/Wednesday, $1,235, 19 classes
• 2-Day Program: Tuesday/Thursday, $1,300, 20 classes
• 1-Day Program: Friday, $650, 10 classes

Meet The Instructor

The Bambini teacher is Bailey Myrin.

Conferences and Support

Conferences will be provided at the end of each session for parents/caregivers with the Bambini teacher to discuss their child's development. Caregivers will also have the opportunity to participate in dialogue with the Early Childhood Director and the Bennett Day Enrollment team to learn more about the PreKindergarten program.
