Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership

The Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership (MBA-GL) program is designed to equip students with essential skills for success in today's complex and dynamic international business environment.

Program Design

The MBA in Global Leadership is a rigorous, cohort-based program typically completed over two years, with an option to accelerate and finish the program in just 12 months.

Program Outcomes

The program prepares students for the challenges of entering new markets, working in other cultures, and navigating diverse business environments. Graduates will:

Course Structure

The MBA in Global Leadership program is designed as an immersive, full-time experience. The program begins with an orientation module, with courses scheduled across the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. Students must complete a total of 42 credit hours (14 courses), including:

• MBA Skills Orientation Module (0 credit hours)
• eleven core courses (33 credit hours)
• three elective courses (9 credit hours)

Admissions Criteria

Applicants for admission to the MBA in Global Leadership program must have demonstrated the potential to learn and succeed within a demanding integrated program. The basic requirements and qualifications are:

1. University Degree: Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree from an institution recognized by UPEI.
2. Academic capability for graduate level studies, as evidenced by a strong academic record (a minimum average of 75% or a grade point average of 3.0 (B) in the last twenty courses is required) and, if the admission committee requests it, a competitive GMAT/GRE test score.
3. Satisfactory performance in an online interview assessment.
4. English Language Proficiency Requirement.

Application Deadline

Applications and all documentation must be received by April 1 for international applicants or by June 1 for Canadian citizens or permanent residents for a Fall Semester start date.

• International students pay $904 per 3 credit course in addition to full-time student tuition
