APICS Supply Chain Management – CSCP

The University of La Verne, in partnership with APICS, offers the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program. This course is designed to demonstrate knowledge and organizational skills for developing more streamlined operations.

The CSCP Designation

• is the most widely recognized educational program for operations and supply chain management professionals around the globe;
• is a designation that is sought by thousands of employers and recruiters; and
• provides mastery of supply chain management best practices and distinguishes individuals as industry experts with specialized, high-level knowledge and skills.

APICS CSCP education is essential for those interested in increasing their knowledge and expertise in global supply chain management, specifically in areas such as customer relations, international trade, information technology enablement, and physical logistics. It is also crucial for individuals consulting or facilitating supply chain functions or working with enterprise resources planning (ERP) systems.

Program Modules

The program is conducted in an interactive, instructor-led format, consisting of approximately 40 hours of classroom instruction and 30 hours of online coursework, totaling 70 program hours. The online components can be completed at any location and include reading various topics, taking tests, and using flashcards to support the content discussed in class.

Upon completion, students acquire knowledge in:

• Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management (Key Concepts, Alignment with Business Strategy, Supply Chain Design and Improvement, Market Segmentation, Demand Planning, Customer Relationships)
• Supply Chain Strategy, Design, and Compliance (Sustainability, Risk Management, Globalization, Logistics, Technology and Information Systems, Influencing Demand, Prioritizing Demand, Regulations and Standard Compliance Rules for North America and International, Inventory Planning and Control)
• Implementation (Supply Chain Dynamics, Managing Supply from Internal and External Sources, Implementation of Demand Plans, and Continuous Improvement)

The course complies with the APICS program and vocabulary necessary to approve the certification test CSCP, which is the most sought-after designation for Supply Chain Management in the industry. Students can opt to take the test to receive the APICS recognition.

Fees & Policy

Course Fee

The course fee is $4,499, which includes all course materials, the CSCP online course, and APICS membership for 1 year, as well as the actual CSCP Exam.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are permitted, but any cancellation will incur a $100 cancellation fee in addition to the non-refundable $850 materials fee.
