Project Management Exam Prep
Ohio Dominican University's Project Management Exam Prep is designed to prepare students to take and pass the Project Management Professional exam or the Certified Associate in Project Management exam. The program aims to expand professional skills and make students proficient in integration management, time and cost management, human resources management, and more.
Two Paths to Choose From
The program offers two paths:
- Professional Path (Non-credit option): Primarily for those with a background in managing people and projects. This path is not for credit but may qualify for employers' professional development programs. The exam prep course meets on campus or online from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays. The cost is $1,300.

- Foundation Path (For-credit option): Primarily for those seeking instruction in project management in addition to exam prep. Students complete two components:
- A three-credit course, BUS-303: Project Management, which is an eight-week course offered in the first half of each semester.
- A not-for-credit exam prep course that meets on campus or online from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays for nine weeks in the second half of the semester. The cost is $1,965.

Our Guarantee to You
Ohio Dominican University guarantees that students will pass the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam if they take the exam within 120 days of completing the program. If not, they can participate in the program a second time free of charge.
Payment Options
- A $100 deposit is required to secure a spot in the program.
- Full payment for the Project Management Exam Prep is due one week prior to the course start date.
Project Management Professional Exam Requirements
To take the Project Management Professional exam, students must meet one of the following requirements:
- A secondary degree (including a high school diploma, associate degree, or global equivalent) and at least five years of project management experience, with at least 7,500 hours of leading and directing projects.
- A four-year degree (including a bachelor's degree or global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with at least 4,500 hours of leading and directing projects.
Certified Associate in Project Management Exam Requirements
To take the Certified Associate in Project Management exam, students must meet one of the following requirements:
- A high school diploma or global equivalent and at least 1,500 hours of project management experience.
- At least 23 hours of project management education.
