Introduction to Production and Materials Engineering - Master's Programme
The Production and Materials Engineering - Master's Programme is a 2-year, 120-credit master's programme that focuses on sustainable production, digitalisation, automation, and global manufacturing. The programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and vision to tackle challenges in manufacturing, industrial automation, and product development.
Overview
Sustainability in manufacturing is about designing resource-efficient production systems that use the right technology for value creation, while ensuring good working environments. The programme integrates manufacturing processes, production systems, and materials engineering, focusing on sustainable production, digitalisation, automation, and global manufacturing. Students will have the possibility to specialise in a chosen field of production engineering and benefit from a strong international perspective.
Teaching and Learning
The programme takes a multidisciplinary approach, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience through a mix of courses, seminars, workshops, and projects. Students will develop skills in project management, strategic decision-making, and the optimisation of complex processes.
