نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Executive Certificate in Faith Leadership
The Executive Certificate Program in Faith Leadership is designed to provide faith leaders with the tools needed to gain greater effectiveness in leadership. The program offers courses that will sharpen, equip, and update earlier educational experiences.
Program Overview
The program is practical, personal, and powerful. It focuses on both personal health and well-being insights, along with practical skill set development. The cohort size is limited to 12 participants, allowing for the building of new relationships and perspectives as the group moves through the coursework.
Program Structure
- The program is 8 months long, with classes held on the campus of Belmont University on the first Monday evening of each month from September to April.
- Unique courses are taught monthly in a 3 ˝ hour format throughout the fall and spring semesters.
- The program includes materials, books, and other resources, all covered by the $99 tuition fee.
The Collaborative Cohort
A special edition of the Executive Certificate Program, the Collaborative Cohort, offers a unique learning experience.
- Time: Monday evenings, 5:30 - 9:00 p.m.
- Location: Jack C. Massey Center 400
- Total Cost: $99
Collaborative Cohort Experience
The Collaborative Cohort experience involves collaborative learning, where participants gain wisdom, perspective, and new ideas through meaningful and thoughtful conversations.
- A "topic of the month" is pre-selected and sent to the cohort.
- Topics may range from timely leadership discussions, book studies, current events, theological positions, or Biblical passages that speak to culture and community.
- Each participant researches the topic during the preceding month and brings thoughts, content, articles, etc. to the group.
- Conversation-starting questions are sent to the cohort as potential discussion starters prior to the monthly session.
- The program invites maximum participation and dialogue among those seated at the table, with a simple supper provided each month at the beginning of the session.
Program Details
- The cost for the entire program is $99, offset by generous donations to the Rev. Charlie Curb Center for Faith Leadership.
- The dates for each meeting of the Collaborative Cohort will be announced soon.
