The Master of Science in Data Analytics in Business (MS-DAB) program at Seattle Pacific University is designed to prepare students for leadership roles at the intersection of technology and business strategy. This STEM-designated degree focuses on managing the vast amounts of data that organizations use, enabling management to make sense of that data.
Program Overview
The MS-DAB program develops readiness to act as a purpose-driven, data analytics leader. It is an applied, collaborative business analytics graduate program that builds expertise in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data for strategic impact. Students gain hands-on experience in business analytics courses designed to help them turn complex data into actionable solutions for real-world challenges.

4+1 Pathway
The 4+1 Pathway allows qualified students to begin graduate coursework during their senior year in the Data Science (BS) major and complete their MS-DAB in just one additional year. This integrated curriculum prepares graduates for leadership roles at the intersection of technology and business strategy.
Online vs. On Campus
Students can choose between an online or on-campus delivery format. The online program offers flexibility, with weekly self-managed asynchronous online learning and synchronous online interactions with faculty and fellow students. The on-campus program meets one evening per week for each course.

Costs

Application
To apply for the MS-DAB program, students must submit:
- Online application and $50 application processing fee
- Current résumé
- Official transcript from colleges or universities attended
- GRE/GMAT test scores (optional)
- Personal statement
- Two professional letters of recommendation (optional)
International Applicants
International students must also submit:
- TOEFL score of at least 86 on the iBT, or an IELTS official score report of at least 6.5
- Official financial statement reflecting financial support equivalent to the cost of the first year of graduate study
- Declaration of International Student Finances form
- Original bank statement and copy of passport (front and back)
