Academics
The program offers two packages, each divided into two four-week sessions. One package is focused on physics for engineers, and the other is focused on physics for life sciences. The physics portion of each package is intensive, fast-paced, and equivalent to two physics courses at UCLA, UCI, and UCSD.

Academic Culture

To be eligible to apply to UCEAP, students must meet the following basic criteria:
- Be enrolled as a degree-seeking student with a UC campus
- Be in good academic standing as defined by their UC campus
Eligibility
- Class Level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
- Minimum GPA: 2.90
- Prerequisite Courses: Two sequential courses of single-variable calculus or equivalent
Cost
The estimated program costs include UC tuition, round-trip airfare, housing, meals, program excursions and activities, passport and visa fees, books, supplies, and other living expenses.
Housing
Students will stay in student dormitories and apply for the dormitory after being accepted to the program. The dorms are located on the west end of Glasgow in an affluent area with good shopping options and plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants.
